Whether on stage or flowing through your speakers, the melodious sounds of this dynamic young lady will simply blow you away.With her new album, A Song For You, Feliciano addresses emotions everyone experiences on a daily basis. From love, pain, desire, forgiveness, devotion and spirituality all are featured in this soul stirring collection of thirteen songs. The songs include a variety of musical styling ranging from funk based beats, rock inspired tempos and classically beautiful ballads.“I have a lot of people out there that I need to minister to that may not necessarily come from the same background as I do and I want them to relate to my music,” says Feliciano. “Since day one of this project, I have focused on real topics and life issues. I want my music to be appealing to the young, the old and the saved, but most importantly to the unsaved. I want to share with the world what God has done in my life and share the happiness and joy that I have, by letting them know that they can have it too. It’s not about living the perfect life or being squeaky clean; it’s just about being real and being real to yourself. Part of my vision for the world is to let everyone know that you don’t have to be perfect to love God. You don’t have to be perfect to live for God and you don’t have to be perfect for him to bless you. I for one am not perfect but God has definitely blessed me. God doesn’t look at our mistakes; he looks at our hearts and blesses us in spite of ourselves.”As a preacher’s kid, Feliciano’s musical roots were formed in the Assemblies of God church. At the tender age of eleven, she led the congregational worship service for the first time. By age thirteen, she was receiving requests from church leadership to sing at special events within the church body. In high school, Gina was a featured performer in numerous community events and programs throughout California. She continued her education and singing career while a student at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. She joined the Vanguard University Choir and toured the United States and internationally in China and Korea. In addition to the choir, Feliciano was a worship leader for the Southern California Youth Convention Worship Team, ministering to thousands annually as well as a member of VOW (Voices of Worship), an eight member Christian ensemble which performed in various churches in Southern California. This past summer she received the honor of being chosen from a pool of thousands of delegates to participate as a member of the Los Angeles 2006 Azusa Street Centennial Celebration Worship Team. A highlight of her career was being a featured performer this past summer while on an international tour with famed worship leader Dr. Ron Kenoly.“It was clear to me at a very young age that my ministry was music,” Feliciano says. “I would see myself in the future being a worship pastor or music leader in a church. It wasn’t until God gave me a clear and concise word regarding my music that I knew what his purpose was for me.
