Slap is a musician, songwriter and producer from Philadelphia. Guitars, basses, drums, keys, and computers are all tools he uses to make music. Mostly self-taught with some proper classical training he is influenced by everything that has ever passed through his ears. Slap has played in many bands in the Philadelphia area, from rock to hip-hop, latin to classical guitar ensemble, gospel band to trip-hop. He has also lent his playing talents to many recordings beyond his own bands, as well as for television and film scores. Mostly known for bassplaying, Slap has garnered the attention and accolades of fellow bassists such as Victor Wooten and Norwood Fisher. His beats and songs have likewise received positive attention from musicians and audiences alike.
