Karen is my name (MMK) stands for Mum, Manager, Karen. I live on the Atherton Tablelands situated one hour from Cairns in the tropics of North Queensland. It rains a lot here being a rainforest but this keeps things green Real green. I am a single mum with four sons and im not looking for a partner because i dont think there is anyone out there that has what it takes. No room for baggage or drama in my life. My eldest Jethro is the drummer for the band Echoed Silence. My home has been Echoed Silence Head Quarters since the beggining. My loungeroom consists of all things band related including guitar strings stuck to the carpet, discarded ear plugs and lyrics on scrap paper but I would not have it any other way. Partys are a given on most weekends after practice and bourban , beers and jager flow freely. Its a good life and there is always a road trip when we have to gig due to the fact the venues are non exsistant up this way. Our current line up is the best we have ever had and has been going hard at it for over two years. My home is always full of music usually of the Metal kind. I have my own business a cafe in Malanda All of Echoed Silence have worked there at some point flipping burgers and cooking to earn a living. My life is never dull and I am kept busy between kids work and band. I Love my music its more than a passion its an addiction. Well thats me in a nut shell, crazy Metal Head My Motto I live by is Dont arrive at the grave in a perfectly preserved body slide in sideways saying Holy Fuck that was an awesome ride.
