Julius and Prince are the duo that form CROWNPLAYAZ. The meaning of CROWNPLAYAZ is that they play the game of life in respect 2 anything they do (playaz) and they hold the crown in it, meaning they strive to be the best (crown). It all began in their freshman year of high school. Being independent young entrepreneurs they started out hosting and throwing parties at venues around the city, broadening the hip hop scene. Their parties were the most anticipated packed and wild. As hosts of their parties they played the crowd creating a surreal environment. Their image and swagger had people always asking if they were a group. They quickly picked up the mic and started rocking shows at their own parties, bringing their standards to another level. They began opening up for other Canadian artists and started to do shows in other cities widening their fan base. After a brief absence from the scene they wanted to come and bring a new element to the game, world-wide. They realized that if they were going to make a move it had 2 be now, keeping the mentality that that they couldnt live the rest of their lives knowing they didnt give that 100% effort. Now with a clothing line, dvd and motion picture in the works and most importantly a finished album under their independent record label Royale Entertainment Inc. they plan on making waves throughout the industry.
