About Me

"The Monster Parade" by Matthew Lewis Cole.
Hi. I'm Natalie (contrary to popular belief), but Nolivia to you, and I don't appeal to you or your friends. For most people, that's as far as their knowledge about me expands. There's nothing wrong with that, but it'd be so much nicer if I wasn't just known as a name. There's a lot you can learn about me, and in due time, I expect that I can become more than just "that girl".
Feel free to stereotype me and categorize me into whatever group you'd like, because to be quite honest, I don't give a flying fuck. I like to attend local shows with two of my favorite people: Pauline and Anna (= . I reside in California (A place I'd rather visit than live; but hey, what can I say? I'm still looking for the right destination. [I consider myself an East Coast girl.]) The vast majority of my family, on the other hand, lives in the small, quaint town of Wilson, New York.
I'm short and young and have yet to experience the world and all of life's bountiful splendors. My aspirations in life include becoming a published novelist; right now, a story is in the works.
Random conversations really bring a smile to my face. I love Rian Flynn's photography, as well as my friends. Don't fuck with either of them. I'm a negative person, and I really dislike myself because of it. Those who lie really bring my self-esteem down; please never do it. It really pisses me off when people act as if I'm not alive and choose to ignore me; it really, really upsets me. I really detest flying in airplanes and having to breathe in that stale, foul oxygen; same with consuming the airline's crappy snacks. I do, however, enjoy meeting members of bands that play local shows. I'm fairly sure that my heart's been crushed; and by a boy who doesn't even know that I exist.
I really love UnderOATH and the Almost. Heh. Chances are I like them more than I like you. Basically, they're my life. They continually inspire me and keep me in terms with my religion. They're unique and versatile on so many different levels, it amazes me. I own/have owned all of their albums, from Act of Depression to Define the Great Line. I am usually in awe. They're so talented and so skilled at their roles in the band, it just blows me away. I cannot wait until March 13, 2007, where, at the UCI Bren Center, I will finally see them play. Spencer, Chris, Glennys, Tim, James, and Piglet all up on stage. Although I've already met my true hero, Aaron Gillespie, at the first Almost show, I still look forward to the day that I meet him once again. Say what you will about UnderOATH and the Almost; any negativities you may say are meaningless to me. I love them more than you anyway. (=
I suppose I could go on, but what a bore that would be for you. Long story short, I'm just a Plain Jane with a rather boring life.. so that's where you come in. And here's where my tale comes to its uneventful close.

"There's a feeling in the world right now like everything is unraveling, but maybe that's not a bad thing. I'm not convinced that the human race is good for this planet anyway."

Heroes:

Pauline.
She is my best friend, as well as my show buddy. She makes me laugh, smile, the works. Pauline's there for me when others aren't. Perhaps she's the only one who can cheer me up when I'm down; she sends me inspiring pictures that make me grin in laughter. She's truly one of a kind. So pretty much, she's cooler than you. (=
Anna.
I met her through Pauline and she's so cool. She likes good music and is my other show buddy. Anna, Pauline and I are the Trio.
Olivia (More like Amovia).
Olivia's an extreme individual and one of the sc3n3st people I know. She's in love with FOB, and you can't change that. She has the capability of making me smile whenever, whatever time it is.
Lee.
She is amazing. She's been there for me for over a year and a half now. She's my better half.
Derrick.
I met Derrick when I was in New York. He wouldn't let us on his ride, but that's okay. He promised me next time. He's cool and sweet. I love our phone conversations. And HE has the accent. ^___^
Amanda.
Amanda and I go waaaaaaay back. We've known each other for so long. She used to never talk, but now it's nearly impossible to get her to stop. She's pretty much amazing.
Haley and AJ.
Haley is my cousin, and AJ is her awesome boyfriend. They're in love and I love talking to them.
Erin.
She's drop dead gorgeous and in love with AFI. She's so bright, and her personality makes me smile. She pretty much has a way with her words.
Esther.
She's so awesome. She's an html person. She sent texts to the Almost Acoustic Christmas concert even though she lives in Florida. ^-^
Hannah.
She is literally the sweetest person in the world. I love our conversations.
Chrissy.
Chrissy is so mature for her age, and she's taught me so much about myself. She's helped me to grow and become who I am today. She's so cool.
Matt.
Matt's my cousin and he is the funniest person I know. He's constantly cracking jokes and it's hard to contain myself from laughing.
Guadalupe.
She is so nice and so sweet. We get along so well. I haven't seen her in forever, but I enjoy spending time with her.
Mija.
We go way back. She's a sweet individual. She doesn't know it, but I've learned a lot from her.
Aaron Gillespie.
Aaron Gillespie is literally my hero. He is my inspiration, my continuous drive to live my life. He's so talented and so in touch with his religion, it just continues to keep me going. I could write an entire page about how he's helped me, but I'll save that for another time. All you need to know is that this man is my motivation and my main reason to wake up in the morning.
