The Reverend's Live Sound

About Me

Hello,I'm fairly young and new kid on the block, but I've been on the road with the legendary El Guapo Stunt Team for almost one year now. (thanx for that opportunity guys) And I've been enjoying every minute of it and learning everytime I hit the deck.Three years ago attended the SAE college in Brussels recieving my (well earned) Audio Engineering Diploma in january 2004. Although it's a college where the main interest lays in the field of the studio environment, I started working for a Belgian sound & light company (Beat & Sound) which had had a lot to do with belgian rock bands such as Ashbury Faith, etc. There I got some great opportunities in getting to do some large heavy sh*t rock'n roll venues with names as Hatebreed, Thrice and more on the 2005 & 2006 Groezrock festival being monitor engineer. At the end of last summer I started doing FOH for El Guapo Stunt Team and still working on it. Right now we're working on the new CD and gonna have a new rock'n roll show on the road soon, so be sure to check them out.Not a long time ago I got my second band being the pure hip 60's formation The Shovels who will be releasing their first full album soon and will be seen all around the belgian country-side. And thanx to Niels I got the chance of monitor mixing on the last Pukkelpop and Maanrock festival for another belgian band Fence, another crazy rock machine.New live sound developments mono engineering (read the MONO story) live sound for Southern Voodoo, Starfucker & Jerboa.New vintage gear got bought: dbx 110, BBE Sonic Maximizer 822, Beyer M64.I'd Like To Meet:The ONES who made the sound of the 60's & 70's Geoff Emerick George Martin Phil SpectorDave Rat and follow him around a RHCP mixing day.Bands looking for a sound engineer for both live and recording.
