A long ol' journey that has yeilded many fantastic insights into myself and the way i tick and why.
I'm an emotionally honest type and this is spread throughout my lyrics.
I like to cut straight to the point when it comes to sensitive feelings and state them openly and honestly. I'm hoping this lets the people who listen to my music know that there is someone else who knows how they feel and that they need not be an Island.
I'm exposing the hidden, throwing light into dark corners, using my confidence and life skills to say things that most only think about.I expose... then comfort.My songs cover some very sensitive and sad topics but they are songs of victory. Songs that tell of overcoming the odds and popping out the other side strong and happy!There isn't a single issue or challenge that can't be overcome and conquered unless we don't let go of it ourselves.
Eventually the time came when I had to wave good bye to the little child inside I'd spent so much time and effort protecting, comforting and mending. Lay him down in his bed to rest, whole, complete and at peace.And start looking firmly forward...My music is a direct reflection of my journey through life, the stories I've heard and the people I've been fortunate enough to meet.I sincerely believe there's something in my words for everyone...
