My full name is Peyton Williams Manning…born in New Orleans, La…. i attended Isidore Newman High School... i helped my team to a 34-5 record during three seasons as starter…i was named Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player-of-the-Year and Columbus (Ohio) Touchdown Club National Offensive Player-of-the-Year as senior and named 1997 NCAA Top VIII for Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete in Athletics, Academics and Community Service…named one of 10 outstanding young Americans by the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce on January 9, 1999, in Washington, D.C….in 2000, the Indianapolis Business Journal named me one of the area's Top 40 leaders under 40 years of age…formed the PeyBack Foundation in 1999 to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by helping programs that provide the necessary leadership and growth opportunities for youth at risk…has conducted a flag football game the last seven years which include a team from Child Advocates (CASA) foster children, against another team of youth from the Indianapolis area community centers the games have generated more than $50,000 for CASA… I launched the inaugural PeyBack Classic in 2000, enabling central Indiana area high school football teams to play a regular season game in the RCA Dome the PeyBack Foundation has donated more than $1,300,000 to community agencies in Indiana, Tennessee and New Orleans in 2006, the PeyBack Foundation distributed more than $312,050 in grants to 53 different community agencies, including the more than $100,000 the Foundation raised for Katrina relief...I have hosted a special holiday celebration the past four years for more than 1,000 children from different Indianapolis community agencies at the Children's Museum of Indianapolisthe foundation also hosted holiday parties in New Orleans and Knoxville.established “True Heroes†program in 2004 for children at St. Vincent Hospital..the PeyBack Foundation sponsors periodic events throughout the year, including a special holiday celebration…the PeyBack Foundation instituted the Ticket Incentive Program in 2002, which makes it possible for 50 disadvantaged children to attend each Indianapolis Colts home game. i instituted the Peyton's Pals program in 2003 in conjunction with Child Advocates..20 middle school students are selected each year and participate in one event a month!these activities range from community service, cultural, educational and recreational outings (2005 events included a three-night trip on a Disney Cruise, participation in the Circle City Dribble, a trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the chance to volunteer at a Special Olympics event, plus much more)...through my peyback foundation I have established the PeyBack Award in 2002 to recognize an individual associated with football who achieved a high level of success in the sport and distinguished himself through philanthropic deeds, and the first recipient was Dallas Cowboys Hall-of-Fame quarterback Roger Staubach.former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino was the recipient in 2003, while Connie Payton received the award in 2004.hosts annual PeyBack Bowl in Indianapolis with national and local celebrities…the event has raised more than $350,000 for the Foundation in three years…hosts 'Taking Care of Those in Need' event each Thanksgiving, distributing meals for 600 needy families…joined forces with Vectren Corporation to institute 'Bright Ideas' grant program that offers individual teachers up to $500 to assist with educational needs…I was named to the NCAA Foundation Board of Directors in 2000 (now the NCAA Leadership Advisory Board), and is its youngest-ever member and first active professional athlete…I was named the 2005 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year….I was honored in 2002 as the male recipient of the Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Award, given annually to America's premier male and female athletes who excelled in their sport and through their actions have helped others…I was selected the 2001, 2004 and 2005 Walter Payton/Indianapolis Colts NFL Man-of-the-Year for participation in community affairs…I was honored by his teammates as the 2001 Ed Block Courage Award nominee…in 2002, I earned the USA Weekend's Most Caring Athlete Award for his ongoing community service activities…earned inaugural John Wooden Trophy in 2004 from Athletes for a Better World…his teammates have nominated him for the Byron “Whizzer†White Humanitarian Award three of the last four years…I also won the humanitarian honor in 2005, joining father, Archie (1978), i was also picked as "a good guy in sports" in 2001,2002,2003 and 2005Hudson Institute for his work with the PeyBack Foundation…serves on the American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet, National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Advisory Board, Board of Visitors of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee and Board of Advocates for the Indiana Golf Foundation…he helped promote the I.S.T.E.P. exam for the Indiana Department of Education…a portion of the Manning Passing Academy is donated to Special Olympics of Louisiana and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.along with St. Vincent Hospitals and Health Services in Indianapolis, I helped create 'Peyton's Playbook,' a kid's guide to healthy living and the importance of making the right decisions.my father, Archie, was an All-America choice at Ole Miss in 1969 and 1970, and had a 14-year NFL career with New Orleans (1971-82), Houston (1982-83) and Minnesota (1983-84).my brother, Eli, was the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft…me and my wife, Ashley, reside in Indianapolis, Ind.Williams.. i now play quarteback for the indianapolis colts.. we finished last year with a 14-2 record and almost came undefeated, some people are saying that the reason for our loss on the field is becasue of a loss off the field when our head coach tony dungy's son james commited suicide. but i just think we got to cocky against the steelers after beating them 26-7 and tought there was no way they could beat us and they did.. but this year we look to go to the superbowl. i attented the university of tennessee from 1993-1997. i finished second in the hiesmon voting there behind ohiostate running back eddie george.. i still root for the vols on saturday and im sure they do the same for me on sunday.. i was born in mississsippi and currently live in indianapolis.. but have a home in knoxville tennessee as well. and this is the real peyton manning i am not some body trying to trick every body for those of you that took my pictures and put them on yours there is no point in that.. well if you want to talk to me i will try to message you back..but im sorry if i dont have time!
