we decided you make dr. dre look like a fool

About Me

i write and read and make stuff and ride my bike places. i'm all about my pink bike, which i built. i like to keep secrets. my pockets are generally full of stuff. i am a creature of habit, and i am loyal to my friends and supporting their projects.

i am the membership and volunteer coordinator for the san francisco bicycle coalition . you should be a member . and volunteer. and get rid of your car.

i work (for free) at the alemany farm where i play in the dirt, eat my veggies and telecommute. who knew farming was so technological?

quieres mas?
i totally don't know anything about this:

sometimes i write some stuff

sometimes i write and draw with a posse

i like to take lotsa photos

My Interests

music snobbery, 1906 earthquake, wheatpasting, brewing gingerbeer, bicycle adventuring, politics, writing, reading, traveling, golden gate bridge suicides (i know it is totally sick)

I'd like to meet:

other people doing interesting things in the streets at nite:

wheat pasters
stencilers
writers
urban explorers
bike ride adventurers
foragers
shadow walkers
dreamers

Music:

snobby genre drop-box: rock and roll, punk, new wave, grime, post-punk, post-rock, psychadelic, experimental, hip hop, turntablism, riot grrrl, indie pop, electroclash, electronic, noise.

longtime favorite artists in no order: joy division, mogwai, yeah yeah yeahs, sleater-kinney, abba, cat power, bright eyes, radiohead, mirah, nirvana, jets to brazil (and jawbreaker), beck, r.e.m., godspeed you black emperor!, bikini kill (and le tigre), the faint, sigur ros, pixies.

and since the interworld has kept track of my listening behaviors for marketing purposes:

what i have been putting in my ears recently: wolf parade, arcade fire, mirah, kanye west, the killers, lady sovereign, spoon, the knife, the kills, clap your hands say yeah, my mixes

i know it is not music, but i listen to it weekly: this american life

i dunno. it is so hard to say. i love music and it is totally important to me, but this little music profile seems to fall so short.
