Sangfold have been a long time in the making. It all started back in 2005 when a group of people known as Paul, Tim, Brent and Greg made a band called Static at SJT. They needed a singer and along came Sarah.
After a few months, we realised that this line up wasn't working out so the band reformed as Sangfold in mid 05 with the additions of Fil Robinson on drums and Moose Cooper on Bass.
During 05 we did a few gigs in our home town and built up a certain amount of confidence and started writing our own material. In mid 06 the band recorded their first demo "House of Mirrors" with the help of Tight Digital Recording. In late 06 the band entered Liquidisco's Nationwide Battle of the Bands for under 18's and out of over 400 applicants in our area, Sangfold made the final four competing with acts such as Last Words and The Skyline
In early 07 the band members decided that they should part with Bassist Moose Cooper who was replaced with Mike Radcliffe. Throughout 2007, the band have been gigging regularly around Shropshire and beyond. The band went recording with Scadge Productions (formerly Tight Digital) in late 2007 and recorded a new demo "Name Your Poison" featuring some favourites from SangFold's live set. The future is looking very good for the band with a very promising opportunity on the horizon
