Kaktus Jak is a DJ/ Producer born in Melbourne Australia. Music was always part of his life as his father was a keen guitar player which led to Jak taking up guitar lessons when he was 12 years old. After a year or so Jak discovered Electronic Music though one of his friends at the time who’s brother was a DJ. From this day forward all Jak wanted to do was become a DJ. Once He was old enough to work he started saving for DJ equipment and as soon as he could he purchased a set of Turntables and a mixer.Jak spent his Teenage years creating Mixes and Remixes for his friends and anyone who would listen. The majority of time he spent his weekend Playing Birthday parties and Underage dance parties etc. Jak was the one who everyone called on for their events. After playing many sets in many different locations Jak decided it was time to travel which in his travels he traveled to Europe in particular Ibiza Spain, the home of dance music. Jak in his travels found influence also from the Paris dance music scene which can be seen in his Unique mix of electro, House styles. Now in 2008 Kaktus Jak is back, setting out to hit the Melbourne Club Scene to enrich the Lives of the many Young Melbournians with his Electro Sound.
