let's see...name's derek, 26 years old. i work for UFPCO; fire protection contractors in Union, NJ. i currently host the door for Bliss Lounge in Clifton & XL Lounge in ironbound Newark. i guess you could say i live to work. i'm constantly busy & always on the run. this always seems to offend certain people. i guess because i can never really solidify plans in advance...kinda always on call, ya know? i'm a very independent person & rely solely on myself. let's just say i learned responsibility @ a young age. please, no drug addicts or possessive/obsessed women. that is the biggest turnoff...a lady who can't stay cool or has to rely on drugs in order to have a good time. such a shame when people need to escape reality by blasting a rail, popping a pill or tipping a glass. find a hobby like basket weaving or something constructive in life. i drink occasionally & really just don't have time to squeeze in drama. sorry queens. yeah, yeah, yeah...i know, drama seems to be the "in thing" now, but i for one would rather steer clear & smile for awhile (tim of avail) i love to laugh...like seriously, nothing beats that feeling of laughing so hard that your face hurts! never judge a book by it's cover. sadly, by first impression, i am mistaken for the typical NJ guido fistpumper meathead who leases a bmw & lives off of mom & dad & can only initiate conversation when discussions are made about protein or dumbells. interesting...huh? i am the epitome of an impulse buyer. if i want something, i buy it..i may not need it or ever use it..but i just want it, ya dig? it's safe to say that i'm spoiling the shit out of myself right now & just living life. too many people are cut short with their time in this life & you never get a second chance. please never believe the hype about being able to do it over...life is short, death is longer. do it big! i live alone & i worked for everything i have. i don't take handouts or expect anyone to ask for them either. it is what it is. positivity is an addiction...stay around those who make you a positive, motivated individual. i'm a cool dude though...i guess i kinda have that "whatever" attitude. i encountered times in life where it just seemed like happiness was a joke ya know...forgetting who my friends were and more importantly...who I was. now i'm just living life...i've come to peace with myself & learned to understand what it is that makes the world go round. UNDERSTAND LIFE...once you learn how to do that...you'll figured yourself out.
