My Interests

gender bending (see ciara video to the right), survival, rice, the Philippine Islands, listening to/producing music, good but not pompous theater, diels-alder reactions (!), conspiracy theories, my camera, crossing-over (both genetically and in the John Edwardian sense), coastal Maine, sleep and dreaming, Hotlanta, my laptop, indigenous cultures, travel, the piano and its infinite possibilities, Canada Geese, sudoku, tennis, cats, camping, hiking, the woods, lakes, the ocean, Cartoon Noir, foods that complement rice (english translation for ulam, please?), qpoc (especially my queer pinoys/pinays, find me), and burgeoning interests in blogging and plants.

I'd like to meet:

Socially conscious Atlanta queer people of color! Anyone who not only acknowledges divisive, hegemonic structures and the roles we all play to perpetuate them, but who also actively works to combat them in his/her daily life. Being real is of utmost importance, which, in part, means not taking yourself too seriously. Flaws are great! Perfect people are not. With my friend Catheryn, and Former President Fidel V. Ramos of the Philippines.
