Brandee grew up wearing matching plaid winter coats and bonnets. She's been dancing around and singing since 1983, when the doctors pulled her out of her mom's belly and noticed that she had a very loud and clear head voice. Her falsetto developed shortly after, as well. This distinctive range, evident from birth, is so powerful that when Brandee stands on her back porch and sings loudly into the forest, farmers up to three miles away hear the echo of her call.
