If you ask yourselves what have i doing for the past four months :) We had this idea to create a user generated video channel where anyone could watch and meet people. I personally thought that video is so honest and provides a snapshot of our personality... something a picture or text can't communicate with the same precision. It is also is a place to showcase yourself, your talents, your city, your friends and you adventures
After wireframing, mocking, designing, implementing... etc, we have have had a silent release. If you have any video already hosted in youtube just get the URL, create a account and add it to the system :) We are not compatible with myspace yet :) but all in time.
This is my profile @ UMingle.tv All feedback is appreciated :))
As I read the article from the Miami Times I wanted to add to what is now history here in Miami.
Chris Deckker had his first Earthdance here in Miami in 1999 @ a place in Washington Av called Mission. The event was not on the date of the Global event, but all the money collected @ the door was donated to the free Tibet cause. Together with TheWomb.com founder Marc Christopher put together a psychedelic trance/goa event with Deckkers other creation Return to the Source. World renouned acts like Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Simon Postford, Minfeld live, Medicine Men... Of the many that were there, few will ever forget.
As for Earthdance it was a reflection of the ideals within the psy trance global village of the time. A time when some envision our civilzation's flaws, looked back to our previous way of living and recreated the old tribal rituals of the trance dance experience for the 21st century. The combination of a spiritual awareness of the universe, Earth and ourselves, with technology gave way to concepts like Earthdance, Boom in Portugal... etc.

I have been an F1 racing fan since i went to the first race in 1974... I was 4 yo and my uncle took me to the Spanish Grand Prix in the Jarama Circuit in Madrid. I love racing in every form, you will catch me racing go karts in Opalocka. Anyway I love this ad about the recent tight competition between Alonso and Hamilton.... with 2x world champion Mika Hakkinen as the punch line :)

Here we go again ;) So I just went through about 4 months worth of music in Juno. I was breaking a mental sweat. So much music!!! Well I have two orders coming this way and I am defenitelly inspired for more. There are a couple of tracks that I could not get this week which sound like the return of trance in (what I believe) its purest form. Good arpeggios, harmonies and melodies grooving on spiraling basslines. They are quite slow 120s... but defenitelly intense for both the mind and the body. I want more :) The rest great chord progressions, simple techno grooves with incredible editing and production. If I could make it to Germany this summer I know I would return home dragging a big pile of heavy vynil (Yes I am OLD... fashion like that LOL... some tracks are harder some tender :) I still try to keep an mentality of all night sets. Mixing minimal, some ultra melodic music, with hard electro, some pop/alternative, Industrial influenced and some hard and straight up techno. If you ask me Fukking excinting and inpirational
This is a video from my good friend Thomas Penton in Taipei. I have seen Thomas working on music for 14 years. True genius :)
This is a Picnic to wish a great farewell to Dimitri. He is going back to Ukraine in two weeks. We will have music :)Bring some food, drinks and quaters for the metersAlso understand this is a protected area and we have to have a Leave no trace attitude. If not the Park Rangers might ban us from the location. So the picnic is this Saturday. We will be there @ NoonHere is the location http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=19&ll=26.043756,-8 0.114963&spn=0.002113,0.004211&t=h&om=1We are all friends :) So please do not promote itBOM!
What is Free Software? A Video Interview with Richard Stallman
Demi - Ganesh Synergy Demi is the other half of Dharma Kshetra. He takes us in a deep meditational journey. Simple drums and arrangements to empty your mind, relax your senses and renew your energy. I can listen to it for hours.
As an avid looney about early drum and bass with their choppin' and edting of my favorite break of all times: The Amen Break!! I still can't get enough of it!!! Now they should do one video for the apache :) I just love those rides and snare of the Amen... they make this break so full :)
I personally have complained all the time about the limitation of our speech in traditional media. In the end most of the communication channels (TV, Radio, Press) are corporate driven and lead a clear example of gatekeeping of information.
That is why I personally love the internet... with no money you can voice your opinion and express yourself. A true democratic medium... BUT... Corporations are trying to transform the system. If you want to get your site on a high bandwidth network you will need to pay a premium. In the end the internet would be similar to television, where this conglomerates would control the information you would receive in the high bandwidth network, while choking the rest. See this video it is a good intro.
I wanted to wish a happy 007. Yes this 2007th lap arounf the huge ball of fire will be filled with great adventures, success and acomplishments for everyone. I feel it. Have the best year ever
I have taken a break from listening music. I needed to stop because after going through lists and lists of titles and keeping up daily I got a bit burnt out to be honest. But it is the only way to go in order to get music that is inspiring and in stock :)
Arjuna - Frances There was a hurricane and I was stuck @ home for 2 and a 1/2 days. So when the winds picked up and the shutter noise increased :) I decided to play some music.
Arjuna - Progressive This set was also made for the Infected Mushroom event in Nikki Beach. But this set was done b4 the event :)
Arjuna - 666 Made in June 6, 2006 with a dark deep and twisted feel. Excellent tracks for peak night time sets. Good energy ;)
Arjuna - IM set dedicated to Faith I made this mix after 3 hour set I did @ Nikki Beach for the Infected Mushroom party with revolution productions and Treance Miami. It is dedicated to Faith who drove all the way from Tampa and could not get into the party because she was slightly underage. Proggy psy into full on. nice builder.
Frans Martins - Building into hard techno I played with DDR and the SOBEBeats crew . I started the event and it would sound something like this. Slow melodic techno buildgin more and more... There are new old and classics. Enjoy :)
Arjuna - Chillophony Psychedelic chill journey. Great soundscapes, deep melodies, good beats... something to put you in the right state of mind. Beautiful music to put a smile in your face :))
Frans Martins - New Minimal Techno Mix This is a 2 hour mix with music I have found very interesting in the past 4 or 5 months. Mostly German music with good grooves and on the melodic tip. Good for the body and the mind.
These charts represent me listening to music @ http://www.juno.co.uk. The first is what I play as i play it, the second is the most listened groups in the week (I think) and the last is the overall Top stuff. I usually play most of the music on vynil or CD. I do not listen to mp3s in my computer, except for sets :) So Last FM does not track those. So the charts represent more my buying habits as I listen to every release for that week.

Short Video :) from WFTAWI am a free loving person living in the here and now ;) I love to design, and music has been my passion for the last 17 years of my life. I am also learning about meditation methods, mythology and other wisdom to lead me in a path to self realization and enlightment.I have made psy trance parties in South Florida since 1997. Played with a whole bunch of fluoro wizards of sounds. Doofed about the planet. Now I am producing music and quikly learning ;) I released one compilation and formed a label called Dharma KshetraNow I am playing mostly electro, minimal, indy and a bunch of stuff. Getting more into a edgy eclectic mix. I like the unpredictability of it. Make it more fun to mix. For the first time in a long while I am inspired. Good grooves and musically rich and varied. I like the vibe, the beats and the music.Recent set
