DRMEATDIC was formed as a improv grindcore side project to EWOC in 1998/99. Our first show was a spur of the moment support slot to ewoc, totally improvised featuring gaffa tape beards, trenchcoats and musical turtles. The response was unprecidented and we were asked to play a number of shows, the first one being with Brazillian punk/thrashers R.D.P, then with Iron Monkey in Sheffield.
The main thrust behind the band was having a laugh, spawning classic tunes such as 'ivan dragos flat top', 'my dads best friend is bruce lee (not the kung fu legend)', 'crisp on a web', 'punk bastards with big fuckin spikey hair' and 'Ayrton Seddon' to name a few.
Apathy set in sometime in 2000 and Dave, Mark and Will went on to form Beecher in 2001
