About Me

I've been the Bass player for the band Sister Hazel now for 13 years, and I now can admit that I don't really need the extra string on my 5-string bass. The only thing that makes me feel like an adult is the fact that I have two unbeleivable kids, Jordan and Kai. I've been married now for five years, and my wife Eve is a kick-ass interior designer. I love to play piano. That's where I do most of my writing. I'm into anything having to do with the ocean. I caught my first sailfish last month, then let it go. I love the smell of aspen trees in the summer, but when I was a kid I loved the smell of Gasoline. One of my greatest assets is my uncanny ability to limbo. I'm way into architecture. I'm not into Hurricanes! I love to cook, but find it harder to find the time. I usually eat my daughters left over chicken nuggets, and mac and cheese. I love Vegas, and New York, but only for about 4 days. I talk in my sleep on the tour bus. I like spiders, but don't like snakes. My life is basically one big "Spinal Tap" scene. I've also been compared to the likes of Larry David. Finally, in regards to my space, I would say..."You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends' nose!" My Interests

Herb Gardening

I'd like to meet:

Sean Connery, Sir Paul Mccartney, Steve Martin, Elizabeth Hurley, Jack Black, Geddy Lee, Scarlet Johansen, and Bob Costas, invite them all over for dinner, cook my famous chipotle chicken enchiladas, then sit around the piano and have everyone sing along while I play "Come Sail Away" by Styx. I'd also Like to meet myself 10 years ago to tell myself to create a thing called myspace so I could collect a big fat check today yo!

Music:

The first song I ever remember being crazy about was "Windy" by The Assosiation. My first concert was Arlo Guthrie. My first real concert was STYX, just before the hugely miscalculated Mr. Roboto tour. The band I've seen the most times live is RUSH. The BEATLES are the reason I play music for a living and one of my biggest influences. My first great slow dance was to "open arms" by Journey. The reason I play bass is that VAN HALEN has really easy bass lines, oh, and they rock! And the list goes on, and on, and on.......

Movies:

Every James Bond movie ever made...however, Sean Connery was undisputedly the best 007.

Television:

Currently: Entourage, Grey's Anatomy, CSI Miami, and Three's Company re-run's.

Books:

The Lorax

Heroes:

The Florida Gators, Aquaman, and my wife
