After getting his big break at the seminal Troll club in the late 80s Daz Saund progressed to becomeresident at the immensely popular Garage at Heaven nightclub and then his three-year residency at thelegendary Trade at Turnmills, where he made his mark as one of Britain's leading techno artists. Daz's reputation rapidly spread throughout the UK, Europe and the Far East, playing at monumentalevents such as Love Parade, Mayday and TribalGathering in the UK. In 1995 Daz was voted BestInternational DJ of the year by FrontPage Magazine, he remains at the forefront of today's techno-dancescene as a figure greatly admired world over.
At the start of 2000, Daz returned to one of his favorite venues Turnmills, this time on a Sunday nightcalled Habit. He is now a resident, playing twice a month to a mixed crowd that appreciates his blend offunky techno-dance music.
Daz first ventured into the remix and production world in 1992 with a remix of E-Trax's 'Lets Rock'. He hasworked with Trevor Rockliffe under the guise of Black & Brown producing several singles, including 'Lick it'on Bush Records.
Since 1996 he has collaborated extensively with Ben Tisdall as Sound Associates, producing for labelssuch as Music Man Belgium, Tortured Records and Missile Records in the UK. He has recently beenworking on his own material due out on Eukatech Records.
Daz is currently engaged on his new record label "Resident Records" together with Richard Dearlove,otherwise known as Diddy, who produced the single "Give me love", on Positiva Records.
He rocks Fabric in London every Sunday night on the infamous DTMP-nights and travels extensivelyaround Europe. He's also behind the wheel of a very successful new gay-night in London.
