The Burning Dogma started in november 2000, from an idea of Luigi "MetalMonsieur" Del Prete and Giorgio "GeorgeGuitar" Pezzi. Their intention is to give life to a band who moved in the veins of Morbid Angel (that's the way of the moniker choice) and in general to play pure death metal like Middle European/American death metal bands, with brutal influences. The choice of a drummer was immediately get into focused on Davide "DaveDrum" Marini, that already in past had considerable co-operation with the founders' projects. In the course of few months was founded a bass player, Marco "Marines" Raimondi and a second guitar, Luca "7strings" Napolitano. With this line-up, the band recorded their first promo, called "Burning Dogma". Immediately after, Luca left the band for several personal problems with the rest of the band, and the frontman Luigi took in his hands the reins of second guitar. After a couple of years, several shows in Italy and in Germany, and a demo in the 2002 called "Odin's Rest", Luigi left the band for serious personal problems. It came as a hard blow to the band: without their leader, the line up needed to find an evil voice who could be also a guide and a charismatic presence on the stage. They stopped for several months, then found a new singer, Francesco "EvilVoice" Mancuso. So the band started once again to play around Italy and the influences changed from a raw death/brutal to a death metal Obituary-oriented. After a couple of months, and serious problems with Francesco, the band taken once again Luigi as frontman at the end of the 2005. From that point on, the band, refreshed, with Luigi and his voice on a brilliant form, planned to do another work. In June/July 2006 the new "Back To The Chaos" demo was ready and it will be downloadable soon!

I Burning Dogma iniziano nel novembre del 2000, da un'idea di Luigi "MetalMonsieur" Del Prete e Giorgio "GeorgeGuitar" Pezzi. L'intenzione dei due era di dare vita ad una band che si ispirasse al sound dei Morbid Angel (ecco il motivo della scelta del moniker) ed in generale, di suonare un death metal a met.. tra lo stampo americano e il mitteleuropeo, con influenze brutal. La scelta del batterista cadde immediatamente su Davide "DaveDrum" Marini, che gi.. in passato aveva collaborato considerevolmente con i due in altri progetti. Nel giro di qualche mese fu trovato il bassista, Marco "Marines" Raimondi e una seconda chitarra, Luca "7strings" Napolitano. Con questa line-up, la band registra il primo promo, col nome "Burning Dogma". Immediatamente dopo, Luca lascia la band per vari problemi personali col resto del gruppo, e il frontman Luigi prende in mano le redini della seconda chitarra. Dopo un paio d'anni, vari shows in Italia ed in Germania, e un demo vero e proprio nel 2002 chiamato "Odin's Rest", Luigi lascia la band per seri problemi personali. E' un duro colpo per il gruppo: senza il loro leader, la line up aveva bisogno di una voce cattiva che fosse anche una guida e una presenza carismatica sul palco. La band si ferma per parecchi mesi, per poi trovare finalmente un nuovo cantante Francesco "EvilVoice" Mancuso. Cos.. la band ricomincia di nuovo a suonare in Italia e le influenze passano da un rozzo death metal ad uno stile Obituary. Dopo qualche mese, e seri problemi con Francesco, la band riprende Luigi come frontman alla fine del 2005. Dal quel punto in poi, rinnovati, decidono di pianificare un nuovo lavoro. Nel giugno/luglio del 2006 il nuovo "Back To The Chaos" .. pronto e sar.. disponibile on line molto presto!
