Rock Industry first came online in November 2006! Destined to bring all things Rock to the masses,
featuring artists from mainstream rock through to the unsigned and the underground.
The Rock Industry Team were becoming increasingly frustrated and disturbed at the low quality of images and lack of unsigned bands in modern music magazines and decided that the fans were not getting the content they deserved. As no one was doing much with unsigned bands on a national level we decided to take action, and now since Rock Industry came online unsigned artists are gettng more national coverage, which was a goal RI set out to achieve.
With a no holds barred approach to interviews and reviews you will definately get to hear us ask those questions other magazines are too scared to ask!!

THE ARUSHA ACCORD
"In the early part of 2005, the then five members of the Arusha Accord began work on a musical experiment. With no solid idea of direction, but with a mind to try and combine some of the chaotic variations of Sikth, the rage and speed of Dillinger, and the complex time signatures and textured progressive arrangements of Tool, they endured an intense and sometimes frustrating two and a half year journey, creating and progressing their unique sound. Since breaking onto the scene on November 11th of the same year, their feet haven’t really touched the ground .. and after performing only three shows, they were snatched up by the fresh, pioneering new label, Basick Records...the rest is to follow.
