...I've grown up on rap. still like a lot of it. haven't been downloading any new stuff recently. need to get back to that. since about 2002 I've really gotten into techno/trance. I listen to it at work all the time. love listening to global dj broadcast from markus schulz, a state of trance from armin van buuren, and disco destruction live at work. thankfully they have unblocked ...my ports on streamin at work. i also download them that day or friday morning. lots of good tracks i've heard. like seeing some of the local dj's rise up too like Ben Brown & Topher Jones, & Blake Jarrell. pretty cool to know them more on a personal level and be able to chat w/ them outside of the dj booth and club. when i'm at home i'm listenin to the electro house channel on di.fm.
...i like the scary ones. any humorous flick has got to be watched. even like the ones that make you think. here's a short list of my favs: Star Wars series, Matrix trilogy, Boiler Room, War of the Worlds, Van Wilder, The Day After Tomorrow, many others
...I don't watch too much tv but I have a huge 54" big screen in the living room and 27" in my room. don't ask me why. ...when I do have it on, I'm watchin Angela Buchman report her news on Channel 8 at night, ESPN to catch up on sports, FX for movies and Nip/Tuck & Dirt, Discovery Channel for the crazy stuff they do, BET to keep up w/ the new beats or MTV for the latest drama, and E! for the hot spots and hotties, Ice Road Truckers is pretty good too.
..."How to Win Friends and Influence People" probably the only book I have completely finished. Actually read it twice like the book says. I should really get into reading as I hear it's better for your vocabulary and discussion amongst strangers. which I'm about to start reading "7 Habits of Highly Effective People". I've finally got a book shelf, just need to start readin some of the books that are on it.
