Hi, I'm Odin, a two year old lab/rhodesian mix; half Brit/half African. Rhodesians originally come from Zimbabwe and were bred to hunt lions, and labs are hunting dogs as well. My background shows in my personality...I consider myself loyal, sweet natured and pretty friendly but I can be protective and ferocious if you're messing with my masters or just walking by my house, because I'm always on the prowl. A word of advice...don't try to pet me if I'm on my bed resting...no one can mess with my throne or take a bone from me. Some might say I come on strong...but that's really my way of showing I like you. My three most favorite things to do are eating, sleeping, and playing with the humans. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a Momma's boy!
I share this page with my new sister-Abbey! Hi, I'm Abbey and I'm Odin's sister. I just came to this pack a few days ago and little by little I'm getting used to having a gregarious older brother. I'm a 20 month old German Sheperd mix, and am only about half Odin's size. My former owner couldn't keep me because she had to move to an apartment, but I'm very happy to have found a new Forever home.
At first I was scared by how forceful and loving Odin is, but gradually I'm warming up to his affection. Unlike Odin, I've very reserved but I do like to be with my new humans. One thing we already have in common...we both LOVE BONES! Mommy is loving having a girl to buy pretty collars and other cute dog things for. Odin and I are still working on becoming best friends and I like him a little more each day.
