reincarnate every day

About Me

I was born and raised here in my small town of Ukiah. I really tried to hate it here when I was younger, but I realized how good it feels to be home. So I settled down a bit on that front. I gave birth to my first child, a baby girl, Kaia Imani. I had her at home, underwater. Water birth was an amazing experience that I highly recommend. When I gave birth to her, it sort of felt like I birthed a stronger self. It feels like I am rediscovering the world, like my eyes have been "freshened" and everything is new. Kaia rocks. She blows me away with something amazing everyday. In addition to having my girl, I am absolutely in love with another amazing human being. If you happen to know him, then you know what I am saying. Right now you will find me mommying around most of my days, but I also work at a distillery selling high end spirits. I enjoy my job. I am attending a local holistic school to finish my studies on rebirthing and massage and taking distance education courses in natural health consulting. Ultimately, I'd like to earn certification as a Holistic Health Practioner or Naturopathist, maybe even a doctorate in holistic health if I'm motivated enough (Doctor Lindsey, I presume). Life has been really good to me lately. Initially, I feared change, but have found comfort in this life. Namaste to that. MySpace Layouts @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments

My Interests

My daughter has become my primary interest. In fact, I would venture to say she is the most interesting thing to ever happen in my life. Right now I am crazed with trying to preserve the first precious months of her life in record. This includes taking about a million photos, gathering family history, and noting every little thing that she does new. It feels like a responsibility almost. I LOOOOOVE YOGA! It does amazing things for me. I also enjoy vegetarian cooking and baking (and eating), making clothes, holistic massage and rebirthing, taking long walks through the woods, growing vegetables, love being in San Fransisco, reading, nightdreams and nightmares, my cat Penelope, new piercings, a good cup of coffee or tea, scrambled tofu, houseplants, naturopathy and holistic healing, spinning poi

I'd like to meet:

As far as meeting people on this site, it's always good to talk with people who share common interests. Of course, I am always open to being "wowed" and turned on to something new and amazing. I have room in my life for anything at this point. As for the famous and infamous, I'd like to talk with Walt Whitman if he were still kicking. His writing bowls me over, so I wonder what it would be like to actually have a conversation with the guy. I would also love to talk with Isa Moskowitz who cofounded the Post Punk Kitchen and wrote a couple cookbooks that I LOVE! She's a genious in the kitchen.
