Collecting all things Alice, preferably John Tenniel illustrations or unknown artists who have a sweet spot for this lost little girl. I have loved her since I was a small.
I wanted to runaway from home to find her and all along I
was her, LOST and wondering what is this place?
Hobbies:
Pop Art, Thrift Stores (real ones, when you can shout "I'm the winner after scoring the perfect mid-century find), wearing black, waxing (I've been told I enjoy watching my male clients squirm a little too much, is that mean?). Everything associated with being an Aesthetician this includes, MAKE-UP, MAKE-UP and more MAKE-UP. Most of all, spreading the concept of patience and Karma to anyone who will listen, cuz, I learned the hard way. Remember friends, be patient when you are waiting in a line, stuck at a light or having to go back into the house because you forgot something, this is where God wants you at that precise moment.
My past, present and future. Haunted or not, forgiven or not, love me or not.
..
Sing like the Supremes and rock like The Clash!
I love to be entertained; Teenage angst, Film Noir, Gidget, animation festivals (The good ones in the late 80's-early 90's at The Shrine), stuffy British films, John Hughes (of course), When I was a kid I loved any movie shown on Sat and Sun on Channel 5, hosted by Tom Hatten, KTLA Legend(remember those, all my So.Cal friends). God, I'm a DORK!
I want to hate TV but, watching the human race unfold their secrets on a box to the world is sickly interesting. Loving the British National Trust shows. My favorite is all about, British modernist architect, Patrick Gwynne and his wonderful modern house, The Homewood.
Design Books, Lifestyle books, Beauty Industry Manuals, and Biographies.
