I'M JOHN AND I WAS BORN COLOMBIA AND WAS RAISED IN HUNTINGTON BEACH,CA. I ATTENDED EDISON HIGH WHERE I MADE ALL KINDS OF FRIENDS. I PLAYED MANY SPORTS LIKE SOCCER AND FOOTBALL. I GRADUATED IN 99 AND ATTENDED UCR WHERE I RECEIVED MY BS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE. I HAVE ALSO LIVED IN LAS VEGAS, NV AND WORKED FOR ONE OF THE FAMILY COMPANIES. I MET MY WIFE VANESSA IN 02 DURING MY LAST YEAR OF COLLEGE AND MARRIED HER IN THE LITTLE CHAPEL OF FLOWERS IN LAS VEGAS,NV. WE HAD THE RECEPTION AT THE STRATOSPHPERE HOTEL.IT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER. GREAT MEMORIES RIGHT "CHASE" LOL...WE THEN DECIDED TO MOVE TO GULFPORT, MS IN 05 AND WAS HERE FOR THE HURRICANE KATRINA. MOVED BACK TO CALIFORNIA WERE I WORKED FOR RIVERSIDE COUNTY AS HR TECH AND THEN MOVED BACK TO MS AFTER OUR HOME WAS FINISHED GETTING REPAIRED.I LOVE IT HERE IN GULFPORT, MS BUT I MISS MY HOMETOWN AND ALL MY GOOD FRIENDS FROM THE OC. ESPECIALLY THE BEACHES AND THE PEOPLE. I'M A FATHER OF TWO NOW AND MY DAUGHTER IS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPEND TO ME AND MY SON WELL I CAN'T STOP STEARING AT HIM AND PLAYING WITH HIM. I'M CURRENTLY WORKING FOR OUR COMPANY AS A HR/DIVISION CONSULTANT WITH MY NEW PROMOTION! I CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE MY VACATION AND VISIT MY LOVE ONES BACK IN COLOMBIA THIS NOVEMBER. I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL AND HOPE TO SEE THOSE OF YOU AT THE CLASS REUNION.CHAO!!

A poem for MotherThere was a time when I was small Not yet strong or tall When you held my hand There was a time when you sang me a song And daily Taught me right from wrong So that I could become an honest man There was a time that I was sick And you put a cool cloth to my head You kissed my cheek while I lay in bed And then I knew everything would be okay Over the years you cared for me All your love and joy was free So now I take this time to say "I love you" ===========================================================T hat day with you shimmered, a laughing daydream. Green never looked so green. Water glistened, And caught our smiling faces. The wind whispered, softly kissing our skin. Sunlight fell through treetops, Celebrating you with dappled patterns. As you walked, the patterns changed, And the colors changed, And you were cast in kaleidoscope light. As we strolled paradise, hand in hand, There was a weightiness, a heaviness to our steps. Our feet struck the ground slowly, solidly, purposefully. We were connected to the earth, and to one another, In a literal sense. That day was surreal, yet so real.
