I work as a Health Fitness Service Representative at MIT Lincoln Laboratory Fitness Center in Lexington, MA and have been there since October 2000. Fitness is a passion of mine. In November of 2002, I decided to start running. Since then, I have competed in 45-50 road races, ranging from 3.1 to 26.2 miles. My fastest official 5k time ever was at the 2007 Hampton Seafood Festival 5K Road Race (21:30). Currently, I run 35-45 miles per week and participated in my first ever EMS Reach the Beach Relay (9/15-16, 2006). What a blast that was! I ran my 1st marathon on April 21, 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts (3:55). I've been a full-time fitness professional since 1999 and am an AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor/Personal Trainer and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Johnny G Certified Spinning Instructor and Yogafit Level I/II Certified. I also strength train 3-5 times a week. Football season is my favorite (GO PATS) time of year as I'm a rabid pro sports fan...particularly football.

Some of my favorite bands are: Sevendust, Soundgarden, Alice Cooper, Pantera, KORN, Queens of the Stone Age, Rush, Anthrax, KISS, The Cure, Snow Patrol, Muse, AC/DC, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Depeche Mode, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Led Zeppelin and am rapidly becoming an Elvis Costello fan. :-)
