I am an eclectic kind of person. I love hearth and home, and family is of the utmost importance. I love to laugh, and talk. I know, that second one can get on people's nerves, but I enjoy good conversations. I'm very open and confident. Any friends with the capacity to make me laugh and to engage me in such a way that I forget about time, you are so welcome in my life!
This is my second winter in Michigan. I had forgotten just how cold it gets! For a while I stayed bundled up inside the apartment. No more. I'm out and about and learning more about Ann Arbor and checking out places that interest me. Right now I'm on a search for bookstores. I found Crazy Wisdom, and I'm looking for more. Books, that is...not more crazy wisdom. My "eccentric" self has plenty of crazy wisdom, thank you very much!Honesty is key with me. I don't have time to figure out what you really mean when you talk to me. Just say it! I am not into word games, and I want to believe what you say, so please just spit it out! What I think generally takes little time to fall out of my mouth. The filter between my brain and my mouth has been of little use for a long time. It's better this way. I never say anything to deliberately hurt someone, and I do try to brake my words, but I'm always honest.I like me. It has taken me a good long time to be able to say that, and it feels good. I'm intelligent, artistic, nurturing, and funny. I'd definitely want to be friends with me. Believe me, that statement isn't conceit...it's growth.I left Florida in December of 2006. It may not seem like a smart move, but my reasons were sound. I love being here in Michigan again, but I miss my friends in Florida. Most people I know this far north are living in Toledo. I don't get there as often as I'd like, but I'm venturing out of my cocoon more now. I'm ready to make some new friends.
