I'd like to meet:
There are a lot of historical figures I'd love to meet if I could time travel, instead I learn about their lives on the History Channel. My modern day idol has to be Oprah...I admire her on so many levels.
Music:
ROCK n ROLL forever! Pagan, New Age, Classical, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Alternative, Metal, finicky Country, NO RAP, NO HIP HOP, a little techno maybe.
Music has always been a very important part of my life, even though I am not musically talented.

Movies:
I enjoy horror flicks and Sci-fi and fantasy best. I've never been much into romantic drama. I do like the occasional action movie and would say comedies and adventure flicks are my next favorite genres following the three listed initially.Link to some of my favorite movies Blog...click here
Television:
LOST is my absolute favorite TV show and coming January 31st, I won't be here online for the season on Thursday evenings.
In the past I enjoyed these shows, but many have been cancelled: Invasion, Two and 1/2 Men, Medium, AFV, Close to Home, Family Guy, NUMB3RS, Surface, Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, Threshold, The Closer.
Currently, I do not have a television set and that has been the case several times in my life...I've never missed it much and don't currently. I will be going to friends/family member's homes to watch LOST on Thursday nights this year. There are only three channels that I do watch when I have a television and those being The History Channel, The Learning Channel and The Discovery Channel.
Books:
If you really want to know, read my blog, because I add titles as I read them.Link to my Books Blog...click here
I highly recommend my friend Vila Spiderhawk's Hidden Passages - Tales of the Crone. I believe all women of various ages would enjoy these enchanting short stories.
Heroes:
People I admire and respect....Oprah, the little guy, Superman, last but not least -- my Mom who is enjoying her paradise!
My deceased stepfather will always be a hero in my eyes as well...he loved me as his own. He was patient, wise and kind. He also loved my hero - my Mother - and it was agonizing watching the twinkle leave his incredibly blue eyes as Alzheimer's ravaged his mind and body.
And, most importantly, all those who sacrifice their lives (either permanently or temporarily) for our freedoms and safety! This includes our military, paramedics, firefighters and the uncorrupt police and others in the legal system. I love you and appreciate your dedication!
My favorite quote from Johnny Depp:
"If there's any message to my work, it is ultimately that it's OK to be different, that it's good to be different, that we should question ourselves before we pass judgment on someone who looks different, behaves different, talks different, is a different color."
