Knowing me is not important, but knowing Christ ? Your life depends on it.
Jesus Christ. He is the atonement for our sins. He paid the price. Say you're in a situation where you owe an eternal amount of money and someone you don't even know comes and says, "I got that; I'll pay that for you", and they take on your debt. Our sin is MUCH worse than that, but essentially, that's what Jesus Christ, the Son of God did. Since man is born in sin, man is in a constant state of lawlessness, a constant state of rebellion towards God.
Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 1 John 3:4 ESV
Because we, in our own state, cannot pay the price for sin that makes us right with a Holy God, Jesus Christ died in man's place. The faith in Christ is a free gift by the grace of God, and there is NOTHING we could ever do to earn, gain, or deserve that. It's a FREE GIFT!
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 ESV
We all deserve hell, but because of the death of Jesus Christ, we have an out!
Those who place their trust and faith in Christ Jesus, our Redeemer, will inherit eternal life and will spend eternity with the Father in Heaven. Eternity's a mad long time. Just imagine. Eternity. It never ends! You can either spend it in Heaven or in eternal torment in hell.
Choose ye this day whom you will serve! We're not GOOD enough for Heaven! Not good enough to receive God's gift of grace and faith, but oh, through Jesus Christ, we have a relationship with God! Nothing we can do on our own can earn Heaven. Nothing we can do can earn grace or eternal life. NOTHING! The only One who was good enough is the One who died for us - Jesus Christ. He is the only One who is good. Place faith in Him and you receive His righteousness! We can rely on Jesus Christ for atonement or atone for ourselves. Our own atonement earns hell. But HIS atonement gains eternal life!

My Interests

... Some of the things I like to do ? Read, study, do makeup, drive, baking, cooking, cake decorating, vacuum (yes, vacuum), surf the net, talk with friends, outreach ministry... I love children so that includes teaching and childcare. I like to stay up on current events as well... love apologetics, learning about Biblical womanhood, and the Word of God.I dig graffiti art! I think it's hot!... and murals... Philly is chock full of murals. I just like art and creative expression!

I'd like to meet:

Jesus Christ in eternity, the dude the Lord has for me to marry, more sisters who love theology (and take it seriously) and digging in the Scriptures.

Favorite music... Hmm... Well, I prefer music that glorifies and exalts the Triune God. I also like some of Celia Cruz's stuff... old Michael Jackson... I am a closet MJ old school fan, lol

... Shrek 1, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, House of Cards, Hotel Rwanda, Meet the Robinsons, House of Flying Daggers... those are just a few.

Television:

... I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but when I do watch it, I watch 'The Office', 'Bake Decorate Celebrate', and the various 'Law and Order' and 'CSI' shows.

Books:

... So many.. but the Word of God is definitely number 1 - The BIBLE (love the ESV). Some of my favorite writers / ministers / speakers ? John Piper, Aaron Messner, R.C. Sproul, William 'Duce' Branch, Eric Mason, Joshua Harris, John MacArthur, Paul Washer, Jack MacArthur, J.I. Packer, James MacDonald, Jerry Bridges... and puritans!.

Heroes:

... My hero is Christ and Christ alone. Anyone else PALES in comparison. My Savior died and saved me from the wrath of a Holy God. No one can touch His work on the cross and His work as creator and sustainer! Christ Jesus all the way!
