About
SEAN CORMAC & JOHN CACCIATORE
THE URBAN RELIEF PROJECT:
Having spent much of their youth growing up on legendary venues such as The World, Red Zone, Mars, Limelight and The Tunnel, Sean & John were exposed to a variety of music and atmospheres that would come to set a precedent for excellence and excitement in nightlife. These early experiences would prove to be the foundation for what there events would come to be. While their musical styles continue to grow and evolve; the underlying theme is always to provide an environment that is boundary-pushing, exciting and most importantly; fun.
Known for their RE:FUGE residency at the underground mecca of Le Souk in the heart of New York's Alphabet City,
The Urban Relief Project consistently and flawlessly set the tone with their unique
funk-fueled, percussive house sound. Now residents at StimulusResponse (along
with Keith Blackstone and Lola) at New York’s hottest new superclub Pacha, they
have passionately procured their signature blend of chunky, jazz-infected, tribal
house. Their sound can be traced to their years of musical influence growing up in and around the New York house music scene. Sean
and John have proven an uncanny ability to read a dance floor and move the masses
with their versatility and percussive climate control.
Their sound has played throughout night clubs, radio and music festivals across
the US and abroad. Known for their vision and feel for a crowd, Sean and John
are able to understand and play to the likes of today’s most demanding dance floors
while maintaining their primary focus. The Urban Relief Project has proudly played
along side and received both respect and praise from many of today’s music giants
such as Tedd Patterson, Wally Lopez, Louie ' Balo' Guzman, Cevin Fisher, Oscar G, Joeski, John Creamer & Stephane
K & many others. - Stewart Edwin
