Supreme Master Ching Hai, is an enlightened Master from the Himalayas who initiates sincere spiritual seekers into the ancient spiritual Light and Sound meditation practice known as the Quan Yin Method. Her students came from all religious backgrounds and from all walks of life. She does not charge any fee or accept any donations for the lectures or for teaching the Quan Yin Method.

Quan Yin Method is an ancient method of meditation that contemplates on the Inner Light and Inner Sound. The Chinese words, Quan Yin, mean observation of the inner vibration. This inner vibration of the universe and has been repeatedly described in various literatures of old. Being in touch with this vibration brings peace and contentment within, and awakens the inherent wisdom and power that is a God-given gift which lays dormant within each of us. This inner peace and wisdom in turn contribute to creating a more positive and peaceful society for our world.
The initiation into the Quan Yin Method is not an esoteric ritual or a ceremony for entering a new religion. It is to learn the specific method of meditation and to experience the Devine Presence in silence.
Practicing the Quan Yin Method daily and keeping the five precepts are the only requirement after initiation
The Five Precepts:
1. Refrain from taking the life of sentient beings, hence the vegetarian diet.
2. Refrain from speaking what is not true.
3. Refrain from taking what is not offered.
4. Refrain from sexual misconduct
5. Refrain from use of intoxicants

The Sumpreme Master Ching Hai International Association is a nonprofit, charitable organization that is self-sufficient and does not accept any public donations. It has been actively participating in relief work and humanitarian aid throughout the world
In the spirit of brotherhood, the Association is dedicated to share this Quan Yin Method of Meditation free o all who seek enlighten, love, and peace of the world.
For those who are not ready to practice the Quan Yin Method, the Convenient Method of Meditation is offered, also free of charge. This practice involves half an hour of meditation and adherence to a pure vegetarian diet for at least ten days per month. It also can lead to relaxed and a happy life, and can be preliminary to initiation into the Quan Yin Method.
