I want to go down as a Humanitarian someday. What is it in me that wants to be able to do big things for the betterment of Humanity as a whole? I know that as a filmmaker, the power of the media can change the world.
I am also the Vice-President of the Bantay Bata Organization of Hawaii. Bantay Bata is Filipino (Tagalog Dialect) for "Save the Children." We raise money to send to children in the Philippines who are in need, including those who cannot afford health care or who come from broken/abusive households and need support. So far after four fundraisers, we have been able to send more than $5000 to the Philippines, which goes a very long way in Filipino currency. The fifth fundraise is scheduled for this November. Eventually, I'll put more information about the organization on MySpace.
I also keep a blog where I rant, helps blow off the steam here on... My Xanga.

My Interests

Things I'm really into include filmmaking, cars, playing video games, playing online games, and chatting online.Things I like but don't do all the time include playing pool.Things I'm potentially into but haven't had a chance to really get into include breakdancing.

I'd like to meet:

I'll tell you who I do NOT want to meet:
I can't stand these stupid invites I keep getting that have some girl who wants me to check out their damn webcam. Even if the crap were for free, I have more class than that. If you send me an invite and it looks like you're just trying to get my money, I will deny you!
I really don't like random invites unless you send me a message first. Let me know YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY KNOW ME so I don't assume you just want to make your friends list larger.
If you are someone who just happens to be someone I've known in the past though, go ahead and send me an invite. I like how you can get back in touch with people you used to know through MySpace.

Music:

Generally I like all kinds of music, though I go through different periods of taste. At one point, I was hooked on 80's music. Currently, I've been listening to Bloc Party, Green Light Go and Trey's Parade.

Movies:

Favorites include Snatch, Kill Bill. Vol 1, Ocean's 11 (remake), American Beauty, Dogma and Casablanca. But I mostly enjoy movies in general.

Television:

Cowboy Bebop, South Park, Family Guy, Futurama and Chappelle's Show.

Books:

I read and collect a lot of how-to books that concern filmmaking and acting. I actually haven't read any story books in a long time though.

Heroes:

My parents, my brother, Robert Rodriguez, Kevin Smith, Bruce Lee, Kal Penn, John Cho, Justin Lin, and Jon Moritsugu.
