Coming from a very musical family it was only logical that Musiex would end up in the music scene as well. After a 2 year musical theatre education she decided to focus more on music, especially Soul, so she recorded a demo, studied at the Conservatory Rotterdam in 2002 where she graduated in 2006.
During her study she's done different recordings, collaborations and gigs. This young female has been singing in Funk/Soul/Hiphop/Pop bands such as Giovanca, Gotcha!, Nicotine, Anouk, Benny Sings and even performed with George Clinton.
She played with various bands on national TV/Radio, North Sea Jazz, Lowlands, The Hague Jazz, Melkweg and Paradiso.
She also works as a vocal coach for aspiring singers.
Still the main focus is her own band Talking Loud which she founded with guitarist Remi "Sausbei" Lauw in 2002.
February 2008 they launched their debut EP "Come a little bit closer"
They do all the production and writing themselves and will be promoting the EP in 2008 across Holland.
Between gigs they're working on the album that will be released in 2009.
