*most anything outdoors that doesn't involve me throwing myself from any extreme height (sky diving, for example, the only time you'd see me in a parachute was if the plane was going down)...i particularly love to hike, trail blaze, camp, cave, canoe, and raft (damn i love that white water)
*exploring my back yard...we have 20 acres of cedar forest...i LOVE it! the bird watching is incredible!
look close and you'll see a deer
*
i also love plants and have started a collection of succulents (mostly jades...thank you Guild for being so generous and helpful)
*
photography has been a passion of mine since childhood thanks to my uncle...i started out taking photos with an old Brownie...i particularly love black and white photography
*
as long as i can remember i have been very passionate about animals (both wild and domestic)...i'm involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation and hope to soon obtain a rehabbers' license...
*spiritual growth is very important to me...my main path is the Red Road (or some call it Earthway)...even when studying other paths, native spirituality has always called me back...i love to see, feel, and hear all that Ina Maka (Mother Earth) has to tell us (if we stop long enough to pay attention)

in honor of Lil Billy, killed in this bullshit war, i wish we could have met...i know you will be missed
honest and sincere people...people who don't talk a bunch of shit...people who care about the state of our earth and are in tune with it...spiritual people...i don't care your race, religious preference, political preference, sexual orientation, etc etc etc...i'm just looking for interesting new people to help further fulfill my life's path.

i think lists are boring, i love good music and love live music...however i'll throw some stuff out...my all time favorite band is the grateful dead (yes...i'm a dead head...hardcore)...right now i listen regularly to the reggae and bluegrass xm radio on our DirectTV...as for what music i like, there probably isn't a genre of music that there isn't some song or artist that i like...from classic to hardcore or opera to country...i like it all...my interests for now, however, tend to revolve around bluegrass, reggae, rockabilly, classic rock, and meditative/relaxation music. Landslide by Stevie Nicks is and probably will always be my favorite song of all time...the feelings that boil up are unexplainable

i also love Native American drumming, chanting, singing, and flute...it calls to my heart, soul, and spirit...the emotions it evokes i can't put into words...i love powwows...i love to dance at them...however, since i have no regalia, and don't even know what type of regalia i would wear (being that i claim no particular tribe, though i do have Cherokee ancestry, i love them all), i am only able to dance in the open dances...i wish i could join in some of the other dances but, i am happy to be the plain-clothed white girl people, who are not there for the right reasons, tend to stare at...

i love all types of movies...i really love horror and thrillers...b horror movies (like they show on SciFi) rock!

i prefer educational (yeah, yeah...i'm a nerd)...i love the daily show, the colbert report, cheap seats (not so educational but funny as hell), reality remix (cracks me up), and i'll even watch cops sometimes b/c my cousin has just become a cop in ft. lauderdale and it's a riot to watch these scenarios take place and think about how it would be if he were in the situation (such as the woman telling the cop that she wouldn't blow into the breathalyser but she's blow something else for him)oh, and, i can't believe i forgot this...FOOTBALL!! i'm a junkie...i can't help it...i don't even necessarily need to give a rat's ass who is playing...i think i'm going to put out a book about all the stupid (and hilarious!) things the announcers say (yanno they gotta be sittin there with a bunch of adjectives on a piece of paper)***
i read mostly non-fiction...i read to learn...i jump from one book to another...and am usually involved in reading at least 2 books at one time...now i'm focusing on the teachings of Black Elk and his students such as Frank Fool's Crow and Bill Eagle Feather...i'm also rereading Mary Summer Rain's series, again...***
