2000 miles started out of a joint passion for making music. Eric & Bill have been working together for over 15 years in local Chicago bands such as 007, Jumpstart To Sunrise, Nothing Yet, & The Four Orientals. Over the years they've played live all over the city & suburbs while touring a good chunk of the midwestern states.
Hailing from the same suburban town that produced great Chicago acts such as The Scissors, The Plain White T's, The Fold, Showoff, Sig Transit Gloria, The Last Waltz, Twenty Six, Paint The Night, and many more (while sharing the stage with most of them at one point or another)...2000 Miles looks to contiune the tradition of producing great accessible music.
A hard band to categorize, 2000 Miles takes inspiration from a wide range of musical influences and life experiences. Both members place a great importance on making their music unpredictable, honest, and unique. You will NEVER hear the same song twice, and the hope is to push the creative envelope with each new release.
