About Me

When I first heard "Do it to the music" By Raw Silk, and other bits on the Street Sounds and Electro compalations I was fixed. Staying up all hours with my fingers on the pause button checking out the Mike Allen show on Capital Radio followed by Tim westwood on Kiss( He used to be wicked , Honest!),My mission became to get as much music into the record collection as feasabley possible.Blagging my dear mum for cash for spectrum games(sorry mum x), most of the dosh was spent on chips and vinyl, which to some extent is still true today. Skating around Streatham ice rink,i heard the DJ play "No Way Back"By Adonis. Tune. I went out and purchased that badboy from Broadway records(Now a convienience store next to Tooting underground) along with Steve Hurleys "Jack Your Body" Probably the two best known house tunes of 86.And I loved it....Having to get a paper round so I could keep buying Records,Puff and Mad Dog 2020 was a pain. It was two years later i went to my first rave(Labyrinth) and the rest is history.I now have records older than my fiance and records so deep underground that my great great grandpops is getting down to them.(scrub that bit) So underground that Alan Titchmarsh dug up some of my tunes and is now spinin tracks at fabric, Bo! Mix tapes coming soon!
