My family is #1, as it should be. Songwriting, jamming with the band, going to concerts, watching movies (they either have to be bloody and terrifying or clever and thought-provoking). Supporting groups such as NORML.

Any of several hard rock/metal icons including, but not limited to: Jimmy Page, Toni Iommi, Jerry Cantrell, Slash, Angus and Malcolm Young, Alice Cooper, Chris Cornell, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Tesla (all of them), Ann and Nancy Wilson, & Zakk Wylde, to name a few. I did just meet the guys from Jackyl -- what a cool bunch of guys! Proud to say Jesse James Dupree's autograph is inked on my arm permanently. Through Bloodbath, I'm looking forward to meeting some talented musicians in the Death Metal scene. Fucking sick.As for the dearly departed, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell Abbot, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Janis Joplin, the list goes on and on . . .Also Tommy Chong. And Jesus. That's about it.
Wow, this is really getting personal. Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Corrosion of Conformity, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Tool, Megadeth, Maiden, Metallica, Hendrix, Ozzy, Dio, Danzig, Alice Cooper, and many, many more. Hard rock/metal/blues are my favorites, but as a musician I appreciate many genres. Most recently, I've discovered Angelcorpse. Sick.
Horror movies -- Wes Craven, John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper, George Romero (NOT Rob Zombie, no offense to his fans.) As I said above, I also like any movies which are thought-provoking (most recently 'V for Vendetta' and 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.') I detest most action movies, but there are exceptions. Dramas, bios, comedies (Coen brothers), documentaries, etc. are cool, too.
I love Tivo -- it's the best thing to happen to TV since electricity. I watch a lot of reality TV because I find people very interesting. Currently a VH1 Celebreality junkie. "Flavuh-Flav!" Seriously. Watch it -- see if it doesn't make *you* laugh. CSI (LV or NY, NOT Miami), true crime, documentaries/'educational' programming, professional wrestling (yes, I said that!)
Just finished reading Tommy Chong's book, "The I Chong: Meditations from the Joint." You should go buy it, and you should tell your friends to buy it. Everyone in America should be more aware of how their civil rights are violated daily . . . and this book is a quick, entertaining read with lots of crucial political awareness and a pertinent "turn the other cheek" message embedded within the stories of Chong's life and ridiculous incarceration. Just read it.
