what tha business is. this is Unique a*k*a A1 tha Awesome1. for those who really know me i go by Tan. I was born on march 26 in a small town called Sulphur Springs. From there on i was raised in Commerce. East Texas plz stand up. Coming up sports ruled my life. i am now attending Texas Wesleyan University on a basketnballl scholarship. growing up i always enjoyed all types of music and as so many others do i also sat on the corner on the weekends and freesyled with the homies. Once i hit high school (class of 03) music really began to take over. i became more and more indulged in music and paid more attention to the music i was listing to. at first being a female out tryin to rap was hard and people gave no respect but slowly but surely everyone began to realize that you just cant conceal the truth. many of dudes got shut down on street corners and at many track meets. anywhere i could find a freestyle session or a battle i jumped in. For a while i was caught up in all that animated freestyling by artist such as DSR but after a while all that nonsense gets old. so during my senior year i decided to get all out serious with music. for a while i couldn’t get with anyone that was seriously on the grind, but in the summer of 2005 i met up with a guy named ej who had a clique called team texas. we collaborated to make my first underground mixtape called "Unique in my Own Way". it is still catching the attention of people. a month after that i produced a freestyle mixtape, however i never pushed it. the peolpe will get the chance to here it exclusively here on myspace. unfortunately ej tried to mess me over so we had a nasty separation. to ej you are fruad for the stunt you pulled but i do thank you for the chance you gave me to get out there. now it is 2006 and i am working on my first original album. all tracks will be originally produced and all songs will bump. anything in life you go through you can relate to this album. i even threw in a lil r&b singing for you. im multi-talented. so that is unique.
