Margos'boyfriend(jokin') There are lots of famous people that I'd like to meet.Margo laughs at me 'cos that sort of thing don't impress her much but I get all starstruck.If it's shiny..it excites. Alice COOPER because he's famous and imfamous and as I was growing up, rebelling against society, thinking I was an anarchist, he was probably my first anti-hero. Morrisey is another.I love how he sees the plain truth and states the seeamingly obvious things that we all see but don't say.

MUSIC

Someone greater than me once said " if music be the food of love" etc.but why just the food of love?What feeds sorrow and joy,pleasure and pain and unrequited love.Surely we need music for those times also.Luckily there always seems to be someone around who is better able to express my thoughts than me,and not only that but put it to some good music as well.So here is a snippet of some of the music that has provided themes and occasional soundtrack during excerpts of a life in progress.And in the words of another, greater than me, I say "thank you for the music"

The Beatles are the first music that I was aware of as a kid.Then my Dads' stuff Elvis,Roy Orbison,Buddy Holly,Hank Williams,Johnny Cash...All of which I HATED.My taste developed in the 70's through Alice COOPER,David BOWIE,Marc BOLAN,Sparks,ROXY Music,Cockney Rebel,AC/DC,Kiss,Thin Lizzy,Tom Petty,KATE BUSH.My taste evolved through the 80's,90's and 2000's(which is more than can be said for my Dad).The STRANGLERS,Sex Pistols,XTC,The Cure,SIOUXSIE and the Banshees,The Damned,COCTEAU Twins,PORTISHEAD,The Police,U2,Simple Minds,Cuddly Toys,PREFAB Sprout,Hipsway,The SUNDAYS,Marcella Detroit,The Smiths,MORRISEY,Bjork,Gun,Guns'N'Roses,Porno for Pyros,BELLE and SEBASTIAN,Sparklehorse,The LONGPIGS,RADIOHEAD,Beck,Zero7,Talvin Singh,QUEENS of the STONEAGE,Mercury Rev,KINGS of LEON,The Killers,ANTHONY and the Johnsons,Artic Monkeys,The Kooks,Snow Patrol,ARCADE FIRE,Goldfrapp,Hooverphonic,Mew,,, Joanna Newsom,ILYA,JO SWAN and lots more in between and around from classical to Sugababes and a bit of Britney...I've also developed a better appreciation of Elvis,Orbison, and Cash...
