Hey..What can I tell you?.I have managed to get a cool background through contacts who wish to remain anonymous and I feel obliged to protect JO SWANS' identity.I have recently been dragged kicking and screaming into the 20th century( I know it's the 21st century,.Thats the thing about humour,if you have to explain it then it's failed) by my daughters, who give me their hand-me-down mobile phones, and my mate Graham who gave me a computer.I describe myself as "normal" and when I see lots of talented people on this site,(some of them friends of mine),it makes me feel more "Normal" in the sense that they appear extraordinary in some way.I, on the other hand, struggle to offer any talent that I might possess.Apart from my ability to waste time on myspace creating a fantasy world, constantly talking rubbish and procrastination there is little else obvious.I am amazed by people who appear naturally gifted and who possess the ability to create, especially music.(Mozart is genius).I like music a lot(I want to say love but I feel I use that word innappropriately at times).I am constantly surprised by the diversity of music all based on the same little group of notes.I wish I could play something or sing.
I am Gemini...not that I believe in that sort of thing...but if I did, I would say that I had some typical Gemini traits.I definately have two sides.I am an introvert who behaves extrovertly at times.I have, what has been called, a dry sense of humour and rarely laugh out loud.I have a straight face which means I am often mistaken for being worried or miserable or both, but I am generally happier and more content than you.I find Harry Hill funny and think he is a comedy genius.I have to say that Eric Morecambe and Tommy Cooper make me laugh just by looking at them. I like Ricky Gervais when he does his stand up routine and I also think that Leigh Francis is a funny guy.
I seemingly like things edgy, subtle, dark and smart. I guess that means I'm probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. I realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but crudeness for its own sake and 'gross-out' humour sometimes leave me totally flat. I guess I just have a more cerebral approach. I have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer. My sense of humour takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best.According to these test results.I liked the Office and I like irreverant humour.I do enjoy seeing people who take themselves too seriously being made to look foolish in the style of Borat,Louis Theroux etc.PEOPLE LIKE ME: Woody Allen - Ricky Gervais - Harry Hill...
