Sadly my list of interests is very small right now. Between 2 dogs, a full time job, working on a masters degree, renovating my house and having a newborn I really don't have much time for interests. If anything it would be sports (particularly softball and skiing) or doing anything outdoors when possible.
Hmm, I'll listen to just about anything really....good mix of alternative, classic rock, pop and yes, even some rap I'll listen to. A small sample of whats currently on my iPod: A New Found Glory, Al Green, Fiona Apple, Barenaked Ladies, Beatles, Billy Joel, Blind Melon, Blood Hound Gang, Buckcherry, The Calling, Hall & Oates, Dave Matthews, David Bowie, David Gray, The Eels, Elton John, Elvis Presley, Eminem, Etta James, Finger Eleven, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Fuel, Ginuwine, Gorillaz, Green Day, Incubus, Indigo Girls, Jack Johnson, James Blunt, James Taylor, John Mayer, Kayne West, The Killers, KT Tunstall, Ludacris, Maroon 5, Michael Buble, Mystikal, Natasha Bedingfield, Nelly Furtado, OK Go, Our Lady Peace, Outkast, Pearl Jam, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Reel Big Fish, Rolling Stones, Tenacious D, Tim McGraw, Toadies, Trace Adkins, U2, Van Morrison, Violent Femmes, Weezer and Yellow Card
Hmm, I'm a big Mel Brooks fan so you can never go wrong with any of his works.....Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Spaceballs....Some other good ones: Road to Perdition, The Godfather, SuperTroopers, Caddyshack, A Christmas Story, The Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter movies (although not as good as the books), Silence of the Lambs, Austin Powers movies, The Princess Bride, Say Anything, High Fidelity....the list could go on forever
Really don't watch too much television. Shows I hate missing: Heroes, CSI (the original), and Scrubs. Otherwise my tv is tuned to Food Network, DIY, HGTV or some show on one of the Discovery channels
Really not much reading going on right now outside of stuff for school (blah). Books in the past that I've enjoyed....Catch-22, Pure Drivel, Prozac Nation, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal (much better than the movie), I Know This Much is True, The Lovely Bones, Wicked and of course the Harry Potter books (yes I do know they're children's books but then again I'm married to a large child). There's a ton of other ones that are stuck far back in some corner of my brain that used to have time to read books.....
My grandmother and pretty much anyone who is strong enough to overcome serious adversity instead of getting beaten down by what the world hands you.
