Dark Psychosis was started as one man project from the demented mind of Xaphan (SUMMON / MASOCHIST / LUCIFERS HAMMER) .... After tempting to start four track demos in 1994 and 1996 ... it was not until 1999 that a complete demo was concieved. "Profane Hallucinations" was a raw and intense experimental demo featuring Xaphan performing all the instrumental duties. It was not until 2004 that xaphan decided to make an official release of the songs from the demos and record some new material as well. He recruited the drumming power of Skinthrasher from the mighty Sauron and recorded "Obsessed BY Shadows" a experimental dark and raw primitive black metal album. Released in 2005 to a very positive response from the press worldwide. It was not until 2007 As Xaphan began recording the follow up that the line up was complete when Supmur, (Xaphan's former bandmate in Summon and Masochist) .Dark Psychosis are now working on recording a new album Which will feature Skinthrasher from the first album on one half and the new line up on the other. DP plan on playing shows and havoc the Metal World! Undergrounders Beware!!!
