During the summer months, Ryan is an accomplished stage assistant for the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra. While not hurtling stands and chairs, he takes a different approach to music by teaching in the Rochester City School District to which he drives a vegetable oil powered mini bus.
Beverly, the greasebus, has reunited Ryan with his passion for engineering and mechanics, but he has not lost sight of his interest in music. These interests have set him on course to study piano technology at the University of Western Ontario. He still composes on an irregular basis, plays bass trombone in community groups and bass guitar alone.
Ryan is part of the boomerang generation and is married to his career.
