About Me

WOW take a look at these free layouts: MySpace Layouts

I am the founder of Southern Michigan Paranormal Investigators. Click on the banner above to check us out!I am Pagan, more specifically I follow Native American beliefs, and their Gods and Goddesses. Since I have Chippewa in my blood, that is the path I mostly center on....but I incorporate several of the other tribes' ways as well. I am also studying more into Santeria, Voodoo, and the many other variations of that. To a lesser extent I work with Asatru as well. Call me eclectic....just don't get any on me. :-)To sum "me" up (in as few words as possible).....I am a huge conspiracy theorist. I belive that the album 'The Joshua Tree' is not arguably the best album ever, it IS the best album ever. I believe in romance by the simpler things in life. I am a weather chaser, voluteering for the skywarn program. I not only love thunderstorms, I have an affinity to them. I tend to procrastinate too much. I love to play golf and volleyball. I have some really close friends, whom I value greatly. I live and long for road trips....they are the very essence of our beings. It's what keeps us sane. I am in the process of starting to make my own line of jewelry items....right now just necklaces but I'm sure I will move on to other things in the future. I love coffee shops, live music, great conversation with people that can listen AND talk, thrift shops, garage sales, and antique malls. I believe in universal harmony....somewhere. I think spending hours laying and staring at the stars cleanses your soul. I am a skeptic and a believer. I believe there are alot of people out there that just look for a fight. Moreover, they go out of their way to be a pain in the ass. Metaphors are what life is all about, and I also believe there is no possible way to tell you everything about me on here, so I will be updating this thing once in awhile with new information. Woohoo!

My Interests

Gee, where to start? I am fully involved with paranormal studies. I am also into percussion, I'm a drummer. I played in a band back in the day, Five From Friday (miss you Phil!). We never really did much except play for friends. We were going to start hitting the clubs and expand our horizons more, but then a band member was having a baby (well, his wife was), another found his dream job out of state...and that was the end for Five From Friday. Nevertheless, it is always in the back of my head to aspire to be a "rock star" someday. We played alternative-type rock music....kinda in the vein of early 90's Pearl Jam. Yes, we played some covers, but we had a bunch of songs we wrote...thanks to the countless hours of staying awake with Mt. Dew flowing through our body, Adam's chain smoking, and a couple of great "groupies" (Not like that though...LOL) that had more ideas in their heads than anyone I can think of. Yes, even anyone you can think of. No kidding.I'm Pagan, so naturally I am studying that. I follow Native American beliefs, and I also find myself attracted to Asatru, but not as strongly as to the Native beliefs. I am a huge stone and herb buff/user, and I use stones and herbs in most of my magickal workings.

I'd like to meet:

******PLEASE READ THIS****** IF YOU WANT TO SEND ME A FRIEND REQUEST, THAT IS FINE, BUT SEND ME A MESSAGE ALONG WITH IT. MYSPACE IS A CESSPOOL OF STUPID ASS SPAMMERS, SO IF YOU DO NOT SEND ME A MESSAGE INTRODUCING YOURSELF AS A RESPECTABLE HUMAN BEING AND WHY YOU WANT TO BE A FRIEND OF MINE, YOU WILL BE MARKED AS A SPAMMER. THANK YOU.More people/groups that are in the paranormal field of study, open minded people that are not stuck in the "my religion is better than yours" nonsense, storm chasers, and people that are real and genuine. Here is a great stripped down acoustic version of Evanescence's Amy Lee(man she's hot!), and Ben on guitar performing "Going Under". ~

Music:

This is a good one. Here is where I defy everything. I can go from industrial, and death and black metal, to classical, jazz, folk, cheesy 80's music, some country, and back to modern day "alternative" rock. Basically anything that takes talent I like. I'm not a fan of rap music.I completely melt at the sound of acoustic performances. "Unplugged" is far more relaxing and intimate in my opinion. I am also a huge fan of organ music(wind pipe, not that electronic crap), and bagpipes are the best sound in the universe. I love to listen and be encompassed by piano music. My main interest is all things metal though. Favorites include Hypocrisy, Fear Factory, Mortician, Skinlab, Godsmack, Six Feet Under, Pissing Razors, Bathory, Machine Head, Grave, Mayhem, and many, many others. If anyone has a clue how to get ahold of Monastat 7 cd's(the band, not the feminine hygeine product), let me know....PLEASE! I'll love you forever! If it's too loud, you're too old! Psst....could you turn it down a tad? LOL

Movies:

I'm a huge Sci-fi fanatic! I also love a good horror/suspense thriller...yes, even the classics! Then, to top it off, I really like comedy...especially the brainless type. It's good to not have to think once in awhile!

Television:

I don't usually have alot of time to devote to becoming one with the couch...but when I do I watch WWE wrestling, House M.D., sports, news, any documentary on paranormal topics, Mythbusters, and that's about it except for random channel surfing for anything that catches my eye.

Books:

Any books on paranormal related topics, and Paganism. As of late, I've been engrossed in a book about Sun Bear's prophecies for the future. It's pretty provocative stuff; it was written and published in 1992, and so far he has hit on quite a few things that he has seen in his visions then, that have come true. Other than that, I have a few UFO related books that I have to read yet. (I'll get your other book back to you soon, Fiver!)

Heroes:

Since I really don't have any of substance, I'm going to dedicate this space for some good "Ask A Ninja" tips. Some good information in these videos! I'll post a new one every so often. ~
