Big Low Life founded Low Life Records in 1992. A former Palmer Block Crip gang member, born and raised in Compton, CA, Big Low Life with his two children at the time Kola Loc and Young Lyfe formed Low Life Records. Low Life executive produced a solo project written and performed by daughter Kola "Fluidly I Approach", which lead her to rap with Snoop Dogg as one of the Doggy's Angels. Low Life also executive produced a compilation album with may platinum artist and some of his new artist including son Young Lyfe who now has his first solo project "Real Lyfe".
