The Second Annual SnowClone makes their return to Bend, Oregon on October 13th at the Silver Moon Brewery & Public House. This year's event is emphasizing more community involvement & support.
BEND, OR -- September 19, 2007 -- They're at it again! SnowClone is pleased to announce their 2nd annual pre-winter festival. Drawing from a successful inaugural 2006, this year's event promises to deliver more entertainment, a better venue, and of course, better snowboard and ski gear at ridiculous low prices.
SnowClone is the new Ski Swap except bigger, better and in a environment that embraces retail, culture and sport. The one day event at the Silver Moon Brewery & Public House is focused on community involvement and support. They will be teaming up with the Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS), a non-profit who assist underprivileged youth and other non-profit groups with winter clothing. All patrons who bring in gently used winter gear for donation, will receive 5% - 15% off the purchase of brand new discounted snow gear. All donations received will directly benefit SOS and their affiliates.
This years event will also focus on promoting support for local musicians, young and old. SnowClone will be advocating community awareness for The Rock School of Bend, a not-for-profit who's mission is to support and educate young and aspiring musical talent among Bend's young, best and brightest. Local talents such as HoggWash, Tentareign, Concave Perception Chamber and the David Bowers Colony will be also be showcasing their latest in support for The Rock School of Bend.SnowClone will also be partnering with local online retailer SolsticeSupply.com and will feature all new products from Mission 6, Burton, Volcom, Airblaster, Academy, Helly Hansen, Spy, Salomon, Bonfire, and much more all listed at 40% to 80% Off Manufacturer Suggest Retail Prices.
Doors open at 8:00am and admission is Free.
