Sawb-1 grew up freestyling & painting in the streets of Portland. About 1997 he got more involved in music. he always loved hip hop & the culture. he say's his father was a musician but never would of imagined he would follow in his footsteps. eventually he met up with Shoboat & Trafek to become TRASH HEAP! they've been paying dues in the music scene ever since.. ( Decade plus+ ) now gone solo Sawb-1 has released his first solo recording " Commercial underground "! asking us to take a second look & the thin line between commercial & underground............To date Sawb-1 has done shows with Trafek, Soul p, Pep love, Grayskul, Thief sicario, J-Kronic, Rachelle, The Liks, Dj Rhettematic, B-legit, Dead prez, Rasco of Cali- agents, The Cuff, N2deep, Rass kass, Royce da 5"9, Jus family, Potluck, Dj Kmattic, Dj VS 1, Dj Dena B, Zulu nation, Thorn city Improv, Battleship, Ozone, Cave manz, My-g, Kazm, Rocket one, Dj Wicked, Dj Chill, Kable Roc & Romulis, Suele, Dirty curt, Dj Kez, Sho-bizzy, Sirens Echo, Sideways Speech, Dialek, Lil Roy, Kenny mac, Clockwerk, Bad Neighbors, Fogotron, you're MOM, etc.. the list goes on. it's alotta name droppin but this is the truth!............. from local radio station's ( Bigg up's to K-Boo!) to T.V. shows like hip hop 101 in Seattle Washington! Trash heap has performed @ the NW Musicfest & been involved in countless free shows & fund raisers as well. Sawb-1 won an mc battle in 2001 taking out 32 of portlands finest mc's! not to mention underground battles & parties! he has earned mad respect on the underground scene!
