My very favorite is Switchfoot. I love rocking to U2, Superchick, Cademon's Call, Barlow Girl, Jack Johnson, Chris Rice, Israel & New Breed, the O.C. Supertones, Toby Mac, Kirk Franklin, United, and Lionel Richie. Recently, I discovered Snow Patrol. How has no one told me about them before?
Movies:
Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion (AKA Jane Austen movies); You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle (got to love Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks); While You Were Sleeping, Miss Congeniality, 28 Days, Hope Floats (I LOVE Sandra Bullock); Hotel Rwanda, Children of Men, The Passion of the Christ (movies that move me)
Television:
Sadly, I no longer have TV. But the true test of a quality show is that you can watch it over and over and not get sick of it. So props go out to those wonderful DVD and iTunes downloaded shows which I love - 24, Psych, Monk, Lost, Frasier, Seinfeld, and the Cosby Show. I miss American Idol. Oh, and the Wiggles (don't knock it till you try it)
Books:
The Bible, anything by Jane Austen, Christian Fiction chalk full of romance, mystery, and challenges being overcome, Mere Christianity, books that help me become a better wife, mother, and person.
