Jon Lloyd

I am a 22 year old DJ, music producer and allround mix master bad boy living in Hyde Park in the heart of Leeds.My Experiences of music started at the early age of 14. My mate and I lived in a small inbred village in North Yorkshire and had nothing to do with our time. As luck had it, my mate came upon decks for his birthday and we would regularly have dj sessions and mix funky & dirty house. I then bought a pair of 1210’s at 16 and started to build up my record collection including house, hip hop and drum & bass. I entered the North Yorkshire dj competition two weeks after getting my decks and came 2nd. Since that time I have been employed by the North Yorkshire county council to teach djing to youths (little chavs) and have played at various venues in the North including : the purple onion (Middlesbrough), Tiger Tiger (Leeds) and the blue lounge (Middlesbrough). As well as that a group of my friends James Vorres, Simon Das, Rob L and myself would put on our own regular gigs in northallerton. (See fidgit on mysapce). I have now moved to the buzzin city of leeds and am trying to further my mixing, scratching and music production skills.My musical tastes include, Hip hop, Drum & bass, Breakbeat, ragga, Dub, house, experiential and all sorts of other funky shit!
