" Yours Truly...~Maria Alexandria~"

About Me

Hey everyone!!! I'm Maria. I am a truly blessed person to have lived in so many different places while getting the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and interesting people along the way! I grew up as an Army Brat and will always be one!! I support our troops out there placed far away from home! They deserve all the best and hope they come home safely to their family and loved ones! As for me, I am the only child from a very diverse family background. I guess it's what makes me very different than most people. :) And I like being different because people remember you more that way! Along the way I have learned never to keep your hopes up because somehow or another, dissapointment comes along. So, I have just learned to take things one day at a time and one step at a time. Just cherish those you know and live your life to the fullest! :)

Heroes:

glitter-graphics.comMy hero is my father. He's a great dad and is a big influence in my life. People get intimated when they meet him because he's so very serious but that's just because they don't know him- he's the nicest person you'll meet! My dad is a Vietnam Vet who was shot at a few times, but still survived! He served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade as well as the 82nd Airborne Division. My dad served with the Criminal Investigation Command (CID for the U.S. Army) for 18 years and is retired after serving with the Army for almost 30 years. His favorite quote that he lives by is "Consider yourself dead! Once you have accepted your death, you can act without fear" - words from a Samurai
