I like going to the movies and even more I would love to go to a Broadway play. I love to read and talk about books with intelligent people. I like talking to strangers in new places and speaking my mind. I love taking my little cousins to the park and traveling when I can. I love trying new things (expect drugs and such) and learning about other cultures and in theprocess discovering just how ignorant I really am...I'm working on it. I love a good concert and burned cds and awesome buys on sale. I love power shopping with my mom and browsing with my friends. I love sewing presents for friends and family and seeing the way they go crazy over them b/c i made i just for them. I love looking out into the Delaware River as the sun sets and roller blading everywhere. :)
Nice people who when they smile...their eyes smile too. Oh, and if you have a sense of humor...that always helps too....boring people need not apply! (you know if you are or not, or I would be happy to clue you in!)
Reel Big Fish ~ (they make me dance around the room) The Ataris ~ (love/break up songs that rule) The All American Rejects ~ (the lead singer is major eye candy) The Beatles ~ (no band or group will ever have their versatility) Sheryl Crow ~ (girl's got soul!) The Dixie Chicks ~ (they somehow make country enjoyable) The Bouncing Souls ~ (love their half chant/half singing) Sara Mclauchlen ~ (butchered the spelling of that I'm sure!) No Use for a Name The June Spirit ~ (all time foavorite local band) Traci Chappman ~ (you got a fast car....) Incubus ~ (besides a gorgerous front man w/ a great voice and beautiful music in the background, what more do you need?) Weezer ~ (love them slow tunes that are followed up w. a faster paced dancin in the room in your underwear song) theres more but i dont feel like typing anymore
All time favorites would have to be "Empire Records", "Green Fried Tomatoes", "American Outlaws", "Uptown Girls", "Billy Maddison", "Ever After", "X-Men 1 & 2", "Dogma", Clueless". Mostly as you can tell, I love chick flicks for their cute predictablity and how the underdog girl always wins. Comedies....what's there to say, you gotta laugh sometimes. And I'm still in my super hero Marvel comic book phase, though the last one i saw...Hellboy, sucked at life. I wanted to walk out of the movie theater.
I don't like TV, all I can stand anymore is TLC's Trading Spaces and shows like since they have my dream job. Every time i attempt to watch saturday morning cartoons, i am sadly disappointed and think back to better days with ninja turtles (the good one!) and mickey mouse and those goofy cartoons. Ghost busters, where are you!?
I love to read...actually I'd rather read a good book than talk to most people..no offense. ;P Set me up with a hammock and a good book on a warm, breezy, sunny day and that is my idea of a lil heaven on Earth. I love romantic comical books with good sex scences, historical fiction, books about other cultures and fantasy fiction. A good biography once in awhile as well. Did I mention I'm a big dork?
My heroes are Wonder Woman and Rogue from the X-Men, not only did they have super powers and cool outfits, but they had voluminous hair that stayed in place while saving the day! I could only aspire to that level of greatness!
